Straightpoint’s running line dynamometers are able to measure tension, line speed, and distance for wire rope, electrical cables, and synthetic rope. Running line dynamometers are very useful in situation where there is no anchor or dead end on the line.
Straightpoint Running Line Tensionmeters
These products are for measuring various sizes of wire rope, from 13mm up to 52mm in diameter. There are both wireless and cabled versions available. For line out & speed, SW-MWLC software is required. These premium running line tensionmeters are made from corrosion resistant stainless steel and ideal for dockside, marine, offshore, towage, and salvage applications.
CableSafe
CableSafe Straightpoint products are designed to measure fiber optic cables and synthetic rope from 9.5mm up to 33mm in diameter. CableSafe uses rapid tension force measurement to provide up to 600m per minute. Linchpins are fitted to the top sheave pins, making rope/cable installation quick and simple. These modern rope tensionmeters send data readings and allow for remote monitoring using a Bluetooth-enabled smart device from up to 328 feet away. For line out & speed readings, SW-MWLC software is required. All CableSafe products are wireless and Bluetooth-enabled.
