Towcell® from Straightpoint is a battery powered wireless towbar tension load cell that's specifically engineered for emergency/rescue services, salvage services, 4X4 events, and other vehicle load monitoring applications. This towbar load cell increases towing and auto recovery safety by helping avoid costly overloads with its real-time wireless monitoring of tensile towing forces. This durable device (Crosby part #2789271) fits any standard 2" tow hitch and wirelessly sends tension data via Bluetooth to the free SW-HHP App for Android and iOS devices. The Towcell® runs on standard AA alkaline batteries and has a Bluetooth connection range of 328 feet. This easy-to-install compact towbar load cell can be installed in minutes and is constructed of premium aircraft grade aluminum. It also features waterproof electrical protection in accordance with IP67/NEMA6 environmental protection and unmatched 500-hour battery life.
