Description

Wheel tie-down straps are designed to keep your vehicle secure during transit and are suitable for a wide range of car hauling applications. This wheel net is designed to fit most wheels sized 14"-17" and includes one wide-handle ratchet which allows for maximum torque when tensioning the strap. The three swivel hooks allow for easy attachment to a range of tie-down anchor points on your truck or trailer.

US Cargo Control car tie-down straps are made with 12,000 lb. industrial-grade polyester webbing for maximum hauling strength and durability. The tough webbing secures your vehicle with limited bounce and is abrasion- and shrink-resistant. For safety reasons, it is recommended to secure all four tires when hauling your vehicle.

Sold as a Pack of 4. A single option is also available.

Measure Your Tires to Ensure the Best Fit

We recommend measuring your tires to confirm this auto tie down is the right choice for your application. Check out our measuring guidelines.

Ratchet Use Guidelines

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."

Think about this first.

bought this to tie down car on auto hauler; car has 17" wheels; straps and ratchets are fine. Issue is the strap on the non-ratchet end. Unless you have a 2nd ratchet that end does NOT have a very tight connection; the tire friction prevents the front ratchet from being able to pull the strap tight on the non-ratchet end of the strap so that end is not providing the full support it should. Just a thought as I haven't tried it; but if you put a tarp or something that the full tire loop could slide on while being tightened
that might solve the problem.
