Merritt® lightweight aluminum saddle box with built-in steps is a great way to add a storage spot without adding excessive weight to your truck. Designed for placement between the cab and the trailer, so the steps make it easy to inspect or work on the back of the cab, trailer front or headache rack. The extruded door frame design has a full perimeter auto-grade door seal to create a water-resistant closure. A stainless steel T-handle latch locks for security. Grooved steps provide solid, safe footing. Reinforced with corner angles for a strong, secure mount. Mounting kit is welded inside (bolts not included).
Door has diamond plate design; also available in a smooth door style.
Merritt® saddle boxes also available in a 24"L size in both smooth door style and a diamond plate style .
