Description

2" x 12' L-Track / E-Track Ratchet Strap - Yellow

Make van or enclosed trailer cargo securement simple with polyester E-track ratchet straps. Their compatibility with E-track and L-track makes them incredibly adaptable, as you can anchor them anywhere along the length of the rail to suit each individual load.

Our E-track tie down straps are made with high-quality components for long-lasting performance. The industrial-grade webbing is engineered to be more heavy-duty and abrasion-, tear-, and cut-resistant, with heat-sealing on the ends. It's made of slightly thicker yarn than most competitors, with more picks per inch used to create each strap. The hardware - including the ratchet - has a zinc coating for protection against rust.

Straps are color-coded for easy identification - the 12' is yellow, the 16' is gray, and the 20' is blue.

Versatile End Hardware

Our polyester E-track ratchet straps are fitted with an E-track fitting and an L-track fitting on both ends of the strap. This feature means they are compatible with both E-track and L-track (also known as airline track), allowing you to get double the use out of the strap. It also makes them perfect for use with a captivated beam system!

The E-fitting hooks directly into an E-track or A-track rail, positively engaging with a spring-loaded keeper to hold it securely in place. It's easy to install and release, and it's compatible with both horizontal and vertical track. The L-track fitting has a delta link so the webbing can be used at an angle from the rail. It also uses a double stud fitting for added strength.

Ratchet Advantages

These E-track straps use a crank-to-tighten racheting mechanism rather than the pull-to-tighten system seen in cam strap versions. This design makes it easy to get your strap very tight, ideal for large, heavy loads. They also have a higher working load limit compared to cam straps.

If you're transporting fragile cargo, we recommend using a cam buckle configuration instead.

Commercial-Grade Strap Industry Compliance

All of our tie down straps are tagged and stenciled with the working load limit to meet FMCSA and DOT regulations, CVSA and WSTDA guidelines, and North American Cargo Securement standards.

Learn more about proper load handling and securement in the WSTDA safety bulletins.

Custom E-Track Ratchet Straps Available

We can create E-track straps with your brand or logo on them! The branded straps look sharp and help to prevent theft. We can also customize the length, end fittings, and more - just fill out our online form or give us a call to get started.

Ratchet Use Guidelines

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."

E-Track Cargo Strap Design Factor

According to the WSTDA, design factor is the "ratio of the breaking strength to the working load limit" and should be 3:1 for these E-track tie down Cargo Straps. This builds in a level of redundancy to account for unknown factors, keeping you, your crew, and those around you safe.

Ratchet end too long to be useful for most jobs

The ratchet end is nearly 5 feet long. When using e-track, you need a lot of room or a large item to make this work. Normally the ratchet end has a very short lead for this reason. I bought this to strap down a car on a car trailer and unfortunately, it just won't work for that given the excessive length of the ratchet end.
