Single leg eye and hook wire rope slings are best suited for maneuvering and making connections in tight places. These eye and eye hook slings are used in a versatile range of angled and hitch-type lifts. The benefit of eye hooks being able to connect to many types of attachment points, partnered with a latch to prevent accidental disconnections allows for more safety and ease of use. Standard eye and hook wire rope slings can be used in choker, vertical, and basket connections.
The open eye is more susceptible to wear and deformation, while the eye hook provides a secure attachment point but must be checked for stress and wear over time.

Hook Sling Features
The thimbled end connection to the eye hook allows for smooth connections and increased durability. The standard eye is more susceptible to wear and deformation, which can shorten the sling's lifespan if not used properly.
- Wire Rope Composition: Made using EIPS-grade IWRC bright steel wire rope, available in either 6x25 and 6x36 wire rope configurations, these slings are engineered for heavy-duty lifting while maintaining flexibility. IWRC core slings can handle temperature ranges from -40°F / -40°C up to 400°F / 204°C.
- Flemish Eye: Each sling is constructed with Flemish eyes, which provide superior efficiency and strength by securely splicing the wire rope.
- Thimbled Eye Loop: Reinforced thimbles in each eye loop protect the wire rope from crushing and wear and tear, resulting in an extended lifespan of the sling.
