Stainless Steel Turnbuckles

316 Stainless Steel Turnbuckles

Our marine-grade stainless steel turnbuckles are constructed from 316 stainless steel, which is not only more corrosion-resistant than galvanized turnbuckles, but also type 304 stainless turnbuckles.

This makes them the ideal choice for wet and high chloride environments - they'll perform better and last longer.

Stainless Turnbuckle End Hardware

There are a lot of styles to choose from, most with very specific applications. We've broken down some of the more popular styles - jaw, eye, and hook - along with more specialized options so you can find the best fit for you.

Most of our stainless steel turnbuckles are UNC-threaded, so you can interchange the ends for maximum versatility.

Eye

Eyes are one of the most secure connection options due to the unbroken round design. Choose from standard or elongated eyes - the elongated eye version minimizes component stress.

Jaw

Fitted with a nut and bolt or pin and cotter assembly, stainless steel jaw turnbuckles offer the security of a closed connection with the flexibility of a hook. Simply remove the bolt to connect to your anchor point, then replace and secure for a reliable setup.

Hook

Hooks are the fastest to attach and release, but don't offer the same security as eyes or jaws.

Deck Toggle

A "T" shaped bar sits inside a mounting bracket with holes on either side. This configuration allows the assemblies to rotate 180 degrees within the mounting bracket. Deck toggle stainless turnbuckles are often used to attach to deck posts.

Drop Pin

These tie downs have a rotating pin on the end that flips flat into the body of the pin to thread through a hole. They can then be extended perpendicular to the body for a secure hold. Drop pins offer an excellent clean look.

Lag Screw

The threaded lag screw end allows for permanent, secure attachment to your anchor points.

Stub End

Stainless steel cable turnbuckles with stub ends are used where a connecting point is not needed - instead, they can separate or push apart objects.

Swage Stud

Swage stud fittings offer a solid corrosion-resistant endpoint that is threaded to accept wires directly into the fitting and swaged to secure them permanently. This style is used to connect rope ends that don't have an end fitting.

Threaded Rod

Stainless turnbuckle threaded rods come with standard threads that easily form a direct connection to a post or other mounting surface.
