All of our slings are made to order with a standard lead time of 1-3 days for assembly prior to shipping.
A triangle lift sling gets its name from the metal triangle fittings on each end of the webbing. This type 2 nylon triangle sling works only with basket and vertical hitches, so it's a little less versatile than the similar type 1 triangle choker slings, which are fitted with a slotted triangle on one end, allowing the other end to pass through for the choker hitch.
Nylon triangle slings are a good alternative for an eye & eye sling. The steel triangles, or d-rings, on the ends of the lifting sling are a great solution for barbs from rough hooks rubbing against nylon slings. Over time, a hook's surface may rub and wear on the nylon, causing abrasion damage and shortening the life of the lift sling. By using a triangle lifting eye, the problem is solved by acting the same way an anchor shackle would for an eye & eye sling. Aluminum triangles are also available upon request.
Our triangle slings, as with all our nylon lifting slings, are made from 9,800 lbs. per inch heavy duty industrial grade webbing and are made to industry standards. All of triangle nylon slings have a tag sewn in that contains the working load limits for different hitch applications. Nylon web slings can be made to almost any length and width. If you are looking for a specific length and width, aluminum triangle slings, or simply can't find the triangle lifting slings you are looking for, please feel free to contact our sales team professionals and they will be glad to help find the sling you need.
Sling Proof Testing Certificates
Proof testing certificates can be supplied with your order for a nominal fee and must be requested at the time of order. Proof tests are performed in the factory where the sling is pull tested to 2x the vertical rating and officially recorded as proof for governing bodies. During the standard manufacturing process, only random slings during a production run are tested for compliance; in order to provide proof testing certificates with your order, every sling must be pull tested at the time of manufacture.
