Description
Our 1/2" diameter heavy round elastic cord is great for use with a tarp on a flatbed trailer: thread through the grommets and attach to the trailer's J-hooks for a quick and secure tie down option. The polyester jacket also gives a strong consistent stretch up to approximately 100% of its original length. The polyester jacket is considered marine grade because it offers superior UV and abrasion resistance over traditional polypropylene shock cords, while the multi-strand rubber core creates a consistent and smooth stretch. The marine grade water resistant jacket makes this shock cord perfect for use on your kayak or motor boat. Also great for other outdoor, marine, and industrial uses: canopies, tents, moving, sailing, securing cargo to moving dollies, pallets, etc. Sold in a 100 foot bulk length so you can easily make custom length black bungee cords by adding our 1/2" bungee hooks.
