4" x 4' Eye & Eye Twin-Path Sling
A Twin-Path high performance roundsling is the perfect lightweight lifting solution. Stronger than comparably-sized wire rope or chain slings at only 10% of the weight, this sling is easier for riggers to handle and, because it’s made from synthetic materials, is ideal for fragile cargo
The sling comes with a sleeve that goes over the body to create an eye at each end, perfect for connecting to lifting hardware.
TPXC High Performance Roundsling Construction
Twin-Path slings are made from two independent paths of K-Spec® core yarn with a protective outer jacket. The load-bearing yarn was found to be the longest-lasting fiber currently on the market in an independent study, and they offer backup protection as each yarn acts as a unique connection between the hook and the load.
The Covermax® jacket helps to protect the core fibers from damage and is created using two layers of industrial-grade nylon. This setup has more than four times the abrasion-resistance of polyester jackets.
Eye & Eye Twin-Path Sling Repairability
A remarkable feature of these slings is repairability – if the sling’s jacket is damaged but the core yarns are unharmed, it can probably be repaired and put back into service.
