Van Beest Jaw and Eye Turnbuckle | 5/8" x 12"
Used to adjust line tension in a variety of rigging and lifting applications, turnbuckles are an essential rigging component. They are commonly used in mining, construction, and suspension jobs where equipment failure could lead to a catastrophe. Make sure your turnbuckles are up to the task by choosing Van Beest. Constructed from drop-forged high tensile steel, they are hot-dipped galvanized for corrosion-resistance and can be used for lashing and lifting if used in accordance with Van Beest's official use instructions. The eye end fitting is elongated to reduce stress on the components, and the jaw end fitting is secured with a safety bolt.
Green Pin Turnbuckle Features:
- Compliant with ASTM F1145-92 (formerly US Federal Specification FF-T-791b).
- Works certificate and proof load certificate available upon request.
- Approved for use in temperatures from -4°F (-20°C) to 492°F (200°C).
- Lock nuts included.
- The jaw end is the right thread fitting and the eye end is the left thread fitting.
- Note: Turnbuckles are only recommended for straight or in-line pulls.
