Drop forged wire rope fitting is manufactured with rolled threads and a forged base. Base has the Product Identification Code (PIC), Crosby® name (or CG), and size for easy identification. Entire clip is galvanized to resist rusting and corrosion; the red U-bolt identifies it as a quality Crosby® product. Features an efficiency rating of 90% based on the catalog breaking strength of wire rope.
Meets or exceeds all requirements of ASME B30.26 including identification, design factor, ductility, proof load and temperature requirements. Also meets other critical performance requirements not addressed by ASME B30.26, including material traceability, impact properties, and fatigue.
