These type 4 synthetic lifting slings have a twisted eye on each end. This design creates a right angle to the body of the sling, which allows for a more snug fit when used with crane hooks.
The slings are made in the USA from heavy-duty, industrial-grade webbing, with wear pads in each eye for abrasion resistance. The strap even comes with a sewn-in leather tag that displays the working load limits for each hitch setup.
While this sling is best-suited for use in choker hitches, it also works well in basket and vertical hitches.
Sling length is measured from the load-bearing point of one eye to the load-bearing point of the other eye.
Proof testing certificates can be supplied for a nominal fee - they must be requested at the time of order. These proof tests are performed in the factory where the sling is pull-tested to 2x the vertical rating and officially recorded as proof for governing bodies. During the standard manufacturing process, only random slings during a production run are tested for compliance; in order to provide proof testing certificates with your order, every sling must be pull-tested at the time of manufacture.
