Description

Adjustable Round Tube Steel Ratcheting Cargo Bar

This ratcheting cargo bar is ideal for pick-up trucks and hauling those hard to secure loads. Made of durable materials, this load bar has a ratchet attached to slowly adjust the tension to keep your cargo secure. By lifting the ratchet handle, you can release the bar so it can extend or retract faster without tension.

It features 2.25" x 3" padded feet for no-slip traction and is adjustable from 40" to 70". The feet can pivot 360 degrees for more convenient placement.

They are a great solution for sectioning out space in mini vans, SUVs, pickups, and small trailers. The ratcheting mechanism lets you ensure a secure hold - keeping cargo in place and preventing shifting that can lead to damage or other issues.

Note: Use caution when tensioning, as over-tightening can lead to vehicle wall damage.

Truck Bed Cargo Bar Features

  • Corrosion-Resistant: Steel body has a galvanized coating to prevent rust.
  • Easy Installation: Simply extend to fit your application, ratchet to add tension, then use the finger release to lock into place.
  • No-Slip Traction: The PVC padded feet are designed to prevent the cargo bar from shifting once it's locked into place.
  • Easy to Store: Keep these load lock bars out of the way when not in use with a cargo bar holder

Can This Pickup Truck Load Bar Be Shortened?

If this cargo bar is too wide for your delivery van or other smaller vehicle, it's easy to shorten! The end without the ratcheting device can be removed and cut down to the right size - all you'll need are a couple of wrenches, a drill, and a hacksaw.

Comprehensive Cargo Securement Options

If these truck bed cargo bars won't work for your application, check our full line of cargo securement, including cargo nets and E-track ratchet & cam straps.

These are junk. Will not adjust (tighten) any more once they touch the wall I thought it was just me, but let 2 other guys try to make them work they threw then in the corner with the rest of the scrap. I was convinced I could not be that stupid and tried again to squeeze them and just by hand and with some force applied I managed to strip the adjustment cogs. They still never adjusted tight enough to hold themselves in place. I have other long load bars so i just cut them off to make them short enough to use for this application. I would send them back but shipping and restocking is not worth the money. Lesson learned.

Meh... it's ok, but...

I bought this thinking it would be a solution to stuff sliding ahead in the pickup bed. it's ok for this, but the ratchet steps are pretty course so it goes from not quite tight "enough" to pushing the sides of the box out in one click. the tube is about 1" in diameter so it has a good amount of flex in it. I wouldn't trust that it will stop anything of any mass from moving arround. am I happy with it, meh, not really, but am I unhappy enough to send it back... probably not...

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am sorry to hear this isn't working out for you. I have sent you a private message regarding returning the item.
