Endless Twin-Path® Slings
Twin-Path Endless High Performance Roundslings
When it comes to heavy lifting, the choice of sling can make all the difference. Twin-Path® endless slings, constructed from two independent K-Spec® load-bearing fiber core yarns and a protective Covermax® jacket, stand out as the superior choice in the lifting industry. Whether you're handling bridge construction or turbine installations, Twin-Path® slings deliver unmatched performance and durability.
Why Opt for a Twin-Path Endless Sling?
The primary benefit to choosing an endless sling over an eye & eye type sling is durability. It's easy to rotate the wear points of the sling between each use, extending the service life. However, with Twin-Path® eye & eye slings, you can actually remove the sleeve that creates the eyes, reinstalling it at a different point to rotate the wear points as well.
It is still easier to do so with an endless sling, as you don't have to worry about getting the sleeve off and on again.
The Benefits of Twin-Path®
There are several compelling reasons to choose a Twin-Path® endless high performance roundsling over alternatives like chain, wire rope, or polyester slings.
They are long-lasting - based on independent testing, the K-Spec® core fibers are the long-lasting in the market - and are remarkably lightweight - compared to similarly strong steel slings, they are just 10% of their weight.
The double-layer nylon Covermax® jacket offers over four times the abrasion resistance of polyester jackets. This robust protection ensures that your Twin-Path® sling stands the test of time, even in demanding environments.
Check-Fast® Inspections
Each Twin-Path® sling comes equipped with a Check-Fast® inspection system, featuring a visual indicator that simplifies the detection of fiber damage, fiber-on-fiber abrasion wear, and more.
This system operates through a third fiber path with a link designed to fail just above the proof load but before reaching the maximum capacity. If the visual indicator is absent, the sling should be taken out of service immediately and sent back to the manufacturer for potential repair. Call us to learn more.
Please note that while this system enhances safety, it does not replace the need for standard inspections conducted by qualified professionals.
Measuring Your Endless Twin-Path® Sling
When choosing the right length for your application, it's important to know how the slings are measured. It's NOT using circumference.
The slings are laid out flat, then measured from sling tip to sling tip.
Protect Your Investment
"Slings in contact with edges, corners, protrusions, or abrasive surfaces shall be protected with a material of sufficient strength, thickness, and construction to prevent damage." - ASME B30.9 (2021) 9-5.10.4(d)
While Twin-Path® slings offer exceptional durability, it's still advisable to use sling protection. Our range of sling protection products ensures your investment stays in top condition, providing lasting performance.
