Jaw-Eye Turnbuckles

Jaw & eye turnbuckles stand out as a popular choice in the rigging industry and are known for their versatility and reliability. Crafted to meet the demands of rigorous applications, they are made from heavy-duty galvanized steel. The hot-dip galvanized finish lets them withstand the elements, offering exceptional corrosion- and weather-resistance for unparalleled performance in any environment.

Turnbuckle End Fittings

This turnbuckle style has a jaw on one end and an eye on the other.

The jaw is securely fastened using either a nut/bolt or pin/cotter pin assembly (depending on the size), providing a robust connection tailored to the specific configuration and size requirements.

The eye is elongated to reduce stress, ensuring longevity and durability. This design also makes it easier for shackles and other hardware to pass through, enhancing the flexibility of your rigging setup.

Looking for a jaw & jaw or eye & eye turnbuckle? We carry those too!

Jaw & Eye Turnbuckle Features

The body of our turnbuckles has a reverse thread on opposite ends, allowing for easy tightening and loosening with a simple twist of the body. This design streamlines the assembly process, saving you time and effort.

Our galvanized turnbuckles meet or exceed the performance requirements of ASTM F-1145 (formerly Federal Specification FF-T-791). We prioritize adherence to industry standards to deliver turnbuckles that consistently perform at the highest levels.

NOTE: Turnbuckles are recommended for straight or in-line pull only.

Turnbuckle Manufacturers

Along with size and length, one of the most important factors in choosing a turnbuckle is the manufacturer. We carry Crosby and Van Beest, along with some additional options that are more budget-friendly.

Crosby

If you are looking for a domestic turnbuckle, look no further than Crosby! Made in the USA, Crosby® jaw and eye turnbuckles are a staple in the rigging industry. Each meets or exceeds all ASME B30.26 requirements, and the end fittings are Quenched and Tempered or normalized to improve performance.

Van Beest

If you don't need a domestic product, look to Van Beest jaw and eye turnbuckles. Sourced from Europe, they are made from drop-forged high-tensile steel for superior strength.
