Grade 70 5/16" Clevis Grab Hook with Latch
Grade 70 transport chain is the most popular option for tying down loads on a flatbed or other trailer. This latched grab hook, when combined with G70 chain, creates a secure tie down that can get your cargo where it needs to go safely.
5/16" Latched Chain Grab Hook Construction
Made from forged, heat-treated steel, this hook has a non-cradle design that allows it to fit through a flatbed trailer rub rail for quick yet secure connections. The shallow throat opening lets you easily connect to chain, and the latch prevents accidental disconnection. The yellow zinc chromate finish offers corrosion-resistance as well, ensuring a long service life.
The clevis attachment provides reliable attachments to chain and other accessories (and fast replacement if the hook becomes damaged). To move the latch up or down, all you have to do is push the spring-loaded end of the clevis hook.
Note: This item is not approved for overhead lifting.
