Lightweight Merritt® aluminum saddle box with steps built-in easily adds storage without adding excessive weight to your rig. Placed between the trailer and the cab, the grooved steps provide easy, safe footing so you can access the space and work on the front of the trailer, back of the cab, headache rack, etc. Extruded design door frame has a full auto-grade door seal around the perimeter for a weather-tight closure. The T-hatch in stainless steel locks for security. Corner angles provide reinforcement and ensure a secure, strong mount (mounting kit is welded inside; bolts are not included).
Door has a smooth finish; also available in a diamond plate door style.
Quality Merritt® aluminum 24"L saddle boxes also available in both smooth door style and a diamond plate style .
